I am a Licensed Massage Therapist trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Reflexology and Orthopedic modalities by The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School. I have studied massage therapy and acupressure for the childbearing year, which includes pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I mainly offer massage services to my established doula and birth photography clients.

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal Massage is a marvelous therapeutic tool that can (and should) be integrated into your holistic prenatal care regimen. It is a physical and emotional health supplement shown to improve pregnancy outcomes and maternal health. You can enjoy prenatal massage safely throughout your entire pregnancy (first, second, and third trimesters). I offer a traditional Swedish-inspired prenatal massage, an induction massage for encouraging labor late in your pregnancy, and luxurious “foot rituals” to target your tired, swollen feet.

Acupressure applies the same principles as acupuncture to promote wellness and relaxation. It is acupuncture without the needles! This ancient practice is rooted in the belief that by stimulating pressure points in your body, qi (“life energy”) is released, allowing it to flow freely through channels called “meridians.” Current research shows that acupuncture and acupressure work by stimulating a biochemical response in the body via the nervous system. I incorporate acupressure into my holistic doula care regimen because I have witnessed the positive effects it can have on your quality of life throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
